Sequoia Ministries International is a charitable faith based organization that is dependent on the contributions of others. Funding may come from any source, individual or group. Contributions are designated by the giver to be used for a specific project(s), or can be given to the General Ministry Fund to be used where most needed. SMI provides unique “investment opportunities” for anyone to take part in. Many of us financially invest in real estate, stocks, bonds, businesses, etc. in an effort to see a positive return for our money. We want to see growth and be assured that our investments are doing well. We want to be good stewards of what we have and not waste our resources. In a similar way, we can look at investing in the ministry. Just as you would hope to see growth and hear positive news about your investments, so it is with investing in the lives others. Supporting this ministry is like investing in something of great value, people! Jesus modeled this for us. He cared about people’s temporal life here on earth, as well as their eternal life, where they will spend eternity. Investing in the kingdom work results not only in temporal benefits, but benefits of eternal value as well. What could be a better investment? SMI hopes to provide unique giving opportunities or “investment opportunities” to any interested person or group, to not just give money to, but to be actively involved in supporting a trustworthy, locally run work. You may wish to invest in the lives of children, or the illiterate, or the deaf, or pastors in training, or those suffering from AIDS, or the poor, or underground Christian churches, etc. SMI allows you to follow God’s leading, and then invest in the project(s) of your choice. It is easy. It is exciting. And it is a unique investment opportunity! Designated Giving - Sequoia Ministries Int. allows for anyone to “earmark” their contribution(s). Donations can be designated to the SMI General Ministry Fund, or to specific SMI Projects. The General Ministry Fund allows SMI to allocate donations to where they are most needed. No Administration Fees Taken From Project Contributions - 100% of all project contributions will be used solely on the designated project(s) of choice. All the administrative and operating costs of SMI are underwritten at this time, therefore SMI does not retain any portion of a contribution for administrative or operating costs.
